It’s raining we’re still running! Who were you running with at the 11th Fit & Fun Wellness Buddy Run?
It was a rainy Sunday morning but buddies from different walks of life still enjoy running at the parade grounds of Camp Aguinaldo. I was there with my buddy Icee, though, yes, she was a bit late.
Prizes for 5km run includes:
(1st Place) Trip for 2 to Siargao with 3 days, 2 nights hotel accommodation
(2nd Place and 3rd Place) P8,000 worth of Robinsons Gift Certificates
Prizes for 10km run includes:
(1st Place) Trip for 2 to HongKong with 3 days, 2 nights hotel accommodation
(2nd Place and 3rd Place) P15,000 worth of Robinsons Gift Certificates
However, due to the bad weather condition, the organizer decided to combine the race, set aside the timing mechanics and let everyone enjoyed running through the rain to avoid injuries and to ensure the safety of the participants.
Although there were a change of some rules, the buddies who did or did not crossed the finished line were still able to get their bags of groceries from Nestle, Johnson & Johnson, Wyett Nutrition, Abbott Nutrition, Fonterra and Unilab. There were many activities in the area too after the race.
Celebrities like, Mikael Daez, Jessy Mendiola and Drew Arellano were present too.
