Celebrations at Casa Verde

A double birthday celebration was planned for my daughter and my nephew a week before the month of May.

The birthday boy wanted to try the big burger called The Mighty Ton featured in Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho and so we proceeded at Casa Verde branch in UP Town Center.

We arrived half an hour before nine but the waiting line was still long. We were the seventh and I believe the last in line. Cut-off was at 9:00 p.m . While waiting in line we already chose  our order and included on our list was The Mighty Ton.

Almost forty five minutes had passed before we were told that they cannot serve the Mighty Ton. We were dismayed and so was the birthday boy. It was his wish and the only reason why we went there.  It took us an hour before we were accommodated inside the restaurant.

We ordered Best Sampler – consists of Buffalo Wings, Bacon & Cheese Potato Skins & Golden Fried Cheese served with bleu cheese dressing, sour cream and marinara sauce.

3 Brian’s Ribs – Casa Verde’s Best Seller in Baked pork ribs with a sweet tangy piquet sauce served with rice. corn & carrots.

Chicken Fried Chicken – Battered chicken breast fillet lightyfried and topped with gravy served with rice and vegetable medley

Jon Jay’s Steak and Pasta – Marinated USDA steak with brown sauce served with a side of spaghetti noodles sauteed in olive oil and garlic.

The kids enjoyed more on the dessert called Milkyway – the BIGGEST milkshake in town!

Though we were not able to try The Mighty Ton, Casa Verde gave our two birthday celebrators free ice cream. Yey!

The food was good. Just enough for our hungry tummies. I guess we will be back for the Might Ton some other time.
