Jollibee Kids Club (JKC) members and their families had a blast at the Jollibee Funtasy Land at the SMX Convention Center last Saturday. This years’ Jollitown theme is magical summer adventure with the family.
Harvey Ong, Jollibee VP for Marketing said, “As a brand, Jollibee has always been about promoting family togetherness. Bonding through shared experiences, especially during summer where a lot of childhood memories are formed, helps strengthen and develop relationships within the family. At Jollitown Funtasy Land, the whole family can enjoy quality time with each other while having fun outside of their usual routines.”
I brought my nephews, Yan-Yan and Austin in Jollitown’s summer playground where they excitedly met Jollibee and friends Hetty, Twirlie, Popo and Yum.
The Jollitram helped the kids for a quick tour inside the Funtasy Land.
Austin enjoyed talking to Pipoy Puno, the show’s resident enchanted tree and yes, conversing with Jollibee at the Jolliphone Booth.
Yan-Yan can’t stop wishing on the wishing well. He said, he wants Kiat-Kiat to get well soon so she can join them next time at Jollitown.
With so much sightseeing and adrenaline-filled activities in store, kids never ran out of things to discover.
They enjoyed a bouncing good time at the giant inflatable Jollibee House, and scaled new heights at Velcro wall of the Dingdangdong Clingers.
Kids also channeled their inner singing stars at Twirlie’s Music Studio.
The bubbly and energetic Hetty wowed everyone during her Cheerleader Moves segment where she taught the kids how to dance Taylor Swift’s Shake it Off.
Apart from the fascinating attractions, Funtasy Land visitors and their families also enjoyed their langhap-sarap favorites at the event, visiting the food booths to get their Jollibee fix, while others purchased special Jollitown souvenirs to add to their collection. Guests were entitled also to a raffle entry and the kids took home a loot bag containing Jollibee goodies.
It’s really fun to be a JKC member!
The good news, JKC members from the south can also enjoy the same fun and advemture as the Jollitown Funtasy Land caravan heads to Davao. Watch out for the entire gang’s arrival at the SMX Davao Convention Center on May 9, from 9AM-2PM and 3-8PM.
