Yeah, you read it right, folks! Cebu Pacific is taking young children on an unforgettable journey to a play city where their dreams can come true – KidZania Manila!
Last Thursday, Cebu Pacific Air touched down at the KidZania International Airport. Mr. Eugenio Lopez III, Ms. Maricel Pangilinan-Arenas, Governor of KidZania in the Philippines and President and CEO of Play Innovations, Inc. and Cebu Pacific President and CEO Lance Gokongwei launched the aviation academy.
“Cebu Pacific has always been a staunch advocate of education through travel. Launching our new destination, KidZania Manila, affirms this commitment. A flight is the best way to welcome kids to this exciting, interactive city. Similar to real life, flights can lead to life-changing discoveries and boundless opportunities,” said Cebu Pacific President and CEO Lance Gokongwei.
“We are very excited to partner with KidZania to enable kids to fly, even if it’s just with their imaginations, and give children their Cebu Pacific boarding pass to a fun learning experience,” Gokongwei added.
“A lot of kids dream about becoming pilots and flight attendants. Cebu Pacific is the perfect partner to introduce these kids to a Juan-of-a-Kind learning experience and the joys of ‘traveling’ to a new city,” said Maricel Pangilinan-Arenas, Governor of KidZania in the Philippines and President and CEO of Play Innovations, Inc. “Like Cebu Pacific, we value fun and put a premium on the power of play. We are very thrilled and proud for KidZania Manila to join their list of fantastic destinations.”
KidZania is an interactive kids’ city that aims to empower kids in a fun and knowledgeable way of role-playing. This edutainment city can enhance your kids dream of becoming a doctor, a banker, a nurse, a broadcaster or a firefighter and with Cebu Pacific and KidZania partnership, your child can also be a pilot, a flight attendant or cabin crew. How exciting, isn’t it?
Zupervisors will teach the KidZania pilot how to take off and land an aircraft using state-of-the-art flight stimulators while KidZania flight attendants can learn how to ensure safety and comfort of passengers.
I know kids and parents are both excited for KidZania Manila. But don’t worry, it’s just about a hundred days to go before KidZania Manila’s grand opening at the Bonifacio Global City in early 2015.
KidZania Manila sounds like such a fun place. I know my girls would have a blast going there. I want to try flying with the state-of-the-art flight stimulators. So cool!
This sounds a lot of fun! Why didn’t we have these kind when we were younger?! Haha! It’s good that kids get to experience the adult jobs at an early age to give them an overview of what adults do to live and provide for their family. Yes, maybe it’s not the right time for them to understand that but eventually they would.
I’m really excited for Kidzania! I hope I can visit the place too :p
Wow this looks awesome. Do you happen to know what is the age requirement for kids to join this activity? thanks 🙂
Hi, Yvonne, kids aged 3 to 14 years old are welcome at Kidzania Manila.
wow this is cool!! i hope my kids can join here! also its good to know about this! thanks!
To my future kids (that are still in the very far future), I promise I’ll take you here
OH MY! This looks so exciting and enjoying! Cutie little kids on uniforms ! Hope i can be a child again. Lol.
This is very interesting. I would love to be within the age limit so I can go inside Kidzania and play pretend, haha 😉
This is a cute project of Cebu Pacific. Very encouraging to children, our future pilots and stewards. 🙂
This is very cute! Kids must engage themselves into activities like this. Thank you fro sharing.
Hi, Ernalou, KidZania Manila is open to kids 3 to 14 years old. I also wonder why we don’t have this during my childhood days hehehe
Cebu Pacific’s getting bigger and doing their promotional marketing with cheapest rate.
Lovely! Another Kidzania in the region for the kids! Would love a review of the theme park, to see how it compares to Jakarta’s and KL’s 🙂
Wow! This would definitely encourage more kids to become pilots and flight attendants when they grow up. If I had a child, I would also want her/him to experience this.
Oh, I wish I can bring my nephew to Kidzania one day. This place will help fuel children’s imagination. I wonder what other activities are available for kids at Kidzania.
so cute! the kids must be having a lot of fun there! i hope its not expensive
Kidzania Malaysia opened a few years ago and it’s still a hit among school going children. Wish I had this when I was young!
What a fantastic concept. Looks like so much fun.
I think this is fun! A place I would like to take my students in the future. Another great destination to bring the kids with in Manila! Yahooo!
I think that’s a smart move for Cebu Pacific considering a lot of kids are already riding airplanes. And natural for feeding their curiosity regarding aviation.
I’ve went to Kidzania KL and hated it! Why? Because it’s only for kids and not adults! I wanted to try out all the careers and have fun there too!
This is so interesting! Being a flight stewardess was my dream when I was young. But my height seem to argue with it. lol
We just saw Kidzania Bangkok in Siam Paragon and thought when it would reach Manila shores. And now comes your blog telling me that it will be here next year already! So lucky the young kids now for these interesting new activities they have now.
This would really kids the appreciation of the air travel. They would also look really cool in the Cebu Pacific getup.
What a wonderful adventure for kids to have! My two would love this. I adore the photos of the kids. They look like they are having the time of their lives!
I’m excited to see the final Kidzania! This role playing concept is great for kids to really know what they want to grow up to be.
The children in the photos are adorable and kids are definitely going to enjoy this service. Would love to take my niece along 🙂
