SHOPPING is FUN but EARNING MORE is much BETTER. I had this thought in mind after attending LAZADA’s Shop ‘Til You Blog event last Thursday at Discovery Primea.
The highlight of the event is meeting the young and dynamic people behind the largest online shopping mall in the Philippines and they are Inanc Balci, the co-founder and CEO of Lazada Philippines and Florian Holm, chief marketing officer of Lazada Philippines.
They are encouraging bloggers in the Philippines to join the Lazada Affiliate Program since Filipinos are very active in the world-wide-web and social networking.
Florian Holm said that the Philippines is very ideal for social commerce, but despite of the fact that many Filipinos are active in social media, only a few are EARNING BIGTIME. He said that Lazada will help us reap some money through their affiliate program.
“In the Philippines there is a big disconnect between content creators and bloggers and opportunities on how to make some serious money from our side. I wanna start paying some serious money to those who blog in the Philippines,” Holm said.
“Besides the socializing and food, I would like us to get to know each other better as affiliate team so we can help you sign up and how this whole thing works,on how you can earn money and then have a strong relationship between you guys and Lazada,” he added.
COMMISSION RATES for Lazada Affiliate Program is 10% for fashion items sold; 8% for non-electronic items sold and 5% for electronic items sold.

The gathering also opened connection between lifestyle bloggers and some partner BRANDS of Lazada like Proppy Socks, Bobson, Wrangler, Crissa, Boom Pod, Cannon and Polaroid who showcased their products and latest innovation.
We also enjoyed some games by Polaroid.
I met lifestyle bloggers like Kryz Uy, who generously shares her insights AND TIPS about BLOGGING.
I BLOG. I visit blogs. I shop online. I’m active in SOCIAL MEDIA and I love participating in syndication threads and activities. And these are factors to help me earn some serious money so I am willing to give LAZADA AFFILIATE a TRY. Who knows, I’ll HIT IT BIG THIS TIME?
If you are INTERESTED TO EARN MORE TOO, just LEAVE ME A MESSAGE and your E-MAIL address so we can discuss. No worries ‘coz REGISTRATION is FREE!

An informative post! I really do need to consider affiliate programs more, just a case of finding the time!
i didn’t know lazada has affiliate programmes too! this will be a good programme for those bloggers who frequently shop at lazada and can do reviews on those products they like to generate more commission from sales!
there are a lot of affiliate programs out there. at times, it may take ages to build up the commission
One more online shopping site to add to my list! My monies are running out fast! haha.
I was approached for their affiliate program a few weeks ago and I still need to understand it better. I’m quite confused of how to use affiliate links! Haha. As an online seller too, I wanted to have my items listed with them but I find the percentage quite high especially for sellers like me who are just small and starting.
I like online shopping because they are hassle free, no jam, no parking, no wastage of time. I can shop anytime of the day.
It’s nice that Lazada is tapping the bloggers since its a good match since they are both operating on an online platform.
I’ve joined this before 8 months ago and really, it’s not for me. It only took my time and space on my blog because adsense has it too. Thanks for this article.
That sounds like an interesting program. Good luck to you and I hope you earn more.
Lazada is a pretty popular online shopping place for many of my friends in Singapore. I’m not really an online shopper, but the affiliate program will definitely help people in some ways!
I am not much into online shopping. But what caught my attention was that last bit about the lecture on blogging. How I’d like to be able to attend something like that. How do you get info about such lectures?
It’s nice that they also have a high commission rate. People can really earn a lot.
Too bad this programs works in your country only. This was definitely a helpful post for bloggers in Philippines.
