Breastfeeding Moms Can Help Yolanda Victims

Life is hard for people who lived in the areas ravaged by super typhoon Yolanda, what more for a baby?  Much worries goes to babies who rely on formula milk.

According to the World Health Organization or WHO, breastfeeding is one of the most effective ways to ensure child health and survival.

Now, I’m calling on all BREASTFEEDING mothers, you can help the babies in the typhoon torn areas by donating BREASTMILK.

Fabella Hospital has a HUMAN MILK BANK. The facility is capable of processing breastmilk and is presently accepting or collecting breastmilk from donors.

Dr. Estrella Olonan-Jusi, vice-chairman of Milk Bank Fabella Hospital said in an interview by GMA, they have gathered 30 liters of breastmilk most of it are allotted for the victims of super typhoon Yolanda in Tacloban.
