Calling All Filipino Kid Innovators!

The nationwide search is on for Wyeth Nutrition Kid Innovators!

Wyeth Nutrition aims to spark curiosity in children and nurture their love for science and passion for innovation. Their program not only seeks to recognize outstanding kid innovators and their achievement, but also aspires to celebrate their exciting journey to innovation, to encourage, and to inspire more children to unleash the power of their curiosity.

Be one of the young Filipino inventors who have accomplished their breakthroughs like Manila Science High School alumni Aliana Mae Arales and Jejomar Derecho, who came-up with the Tri-Axis Accelerometer as Commercial Seismic Wave Sensor. They bagged the GOLD in the 2014 International Youth Invention Exhibition Awards.

Other successful achievers are a group of girls also from Manila Science High School who invented the Light Intensity Meter-Operated Automatic Gas Tank Valve Lock. They won the GOLD in the 2014 International Youth Invention Exhibition Awards in Taiwan.

WHO CAN JOIN THE SEARCH FOR WYETH NUTRITION KID INNOVATORS?

Students aged 9 to 14, grades 4 to 8 are welcome to join and submit an innovative science-related project that they produced either alone or as a group of 2-5 members, in compliance with an academic requirement or as personal initiative.

The top 3 winning entries shall receive a cash prize of P100,000 and a trophy, along with a science and technology showcase worth P100,000 for the partner school.
