Moms, Do You Want to Travel Alone?

Some are happy with the coming of the rainy season, especially  the travel buffs mothers and the frugal moms who patiently wait for this time of the year to come. Why? Because it is during the rainy season when airline companies offer affordable airfare promos.

Here you can avail of huge discounts, rebates and other travel benefits. It’s the perfect time of the year to plan for the family holiday expedition too to save some budget, right mothers?

Actually, at the back of my mind, I always wanted to travel and put up a Solo Trip Blog.

However, since I have a family and I always have to travel with the kids, the possibility of wandering solo out-of-town may not be 100 percent achievable – though still probable.

Admit it, Moms need to have their “Me” time too to rediscover ourselves, to refresh and reflect in a place far from home.  Maybe being away from the responsibilities of the house and the kids for quite some time – like 2 to 3 days are enough to unwind.

I wish to travel alone and go to a place I long to visit during my childhood. This might sound a little bit crazy but I guess some moms feel this too. This idea is not totally abandoning your children and your husband but just a simple and ample time for mothers to cherish and enjoy.

What do you think of moms traveling solo? Do you wish or think about it? Does your husband encourage you to fly alone? And if you are one of the mommies who loves to tour alone, where do you go and what do you do during your ME time?

I just like to ask these questions to mommies, daddies and children out there and know your opinion or your two cents about mothers who travel alone.

  1. My wife had just have a Hong Kong solo trip a year ago and she had a fun experience. Pero, she confided na mas masaya siya kung kasama ako.

  2. I can’t imagine myself traveling solo and enjoying it only because I’m a bubbly person who loves to talk, talk, talk. It would be weird to be in a really lovely place and have no one to talk to – and I’d miss my baby. Plus, the hubby makes an excellent bag carrier aka kargador haha

  3. I know some people who prefer to travel solo. But as for me, I would want to travel with my husband (and my kid). Although I’d prefer to travel without a toddler.

  4. I’d like to try solo travel at least once in my lifetime, actually I make it one of my bucket list and I’m planning to do soon 🙂
