A Whirlpool of Activities at the Whirlpool Kitchen Club

Mommies and daddies, have you been a part of any homemakers or cooking club?

Honestly, I’m a member of a homemakers club, but aside from receiving emails about their products and some home and cooking tips, there’s nothing more beneficial and exciting on the consumers part.

Last Friday, I witnessed a queue of mommies and daddies at the SM City Fairview. They were more or less a hundred, patiently waiting for the opening of Whirlpool Kitchen Club event. Out of curiosity, I asked a mom what’s in store and she answered that a cooking demo will prosper. A little more chat then I learned that they are owners of Whirlpool products. I remember I have a Whirlpool microwave oven at home.

Games galore with these lovely moms.

I manage to stay and wait for the activity to start. I’ve seen how excited the participants during the event and most of them are engaging in the activities. They’re enthusiastic to answer questions and really have a hand in the project. When the game started, most of the attendees wanted to join.

I guess the lively host, Ms. Joy Catiis-Cruz who happened to be the marketing manager of Whirlpool have a big influence on the behavior of the participants. There was never a dull moment with her on the stage and once she speaks, the audience were really listening.

Ms. Joy said, “Whirlpool aims to make the world a little easier and it it through events and activities like this that we get to live up to our commitment to make the lives of Filipino families more convenient.”

Chef Reggie Perez, whom I  only saw on magazines and television, prepared Quick & Easy Microwaved Meals. We even tasted each microwave oven meals and no cook refrigerated desserts that Chef Reggie made.

We had the 5-minute Four Cheese Macaroni; 10-minute Baked Potato; Quick Bacon and Ham Fried Rice. I also indulge with the Lotus Biscoff Layered Cheesecake; Lotus Biscoff No-Bake Pops and Lotus Biscoff Ice Cream.

Aside from the microwave cooking demonstration, there were also games and raffle prizes. Of course, Whirlpool was so generous that every participants went home with raffled items, aside from the loot bags from other sponsors. And there were 2 lucky winners of Whirlpool microwave oven and one grand prize winner of  Whirlpool washing machine.

Happy participants who won raffle items from Breeze.

I also love the educational activities on how to take care of your cookware and appliances to allow you to save energy and money. I can say that Whirlpool Kitchen Club have reached its goal to build a community of homemakers and cooking enthusiasts because the attendees relentlessly shared their experiences in taking care of their appliance and cookwares and their reason why they choose to buy Whirlpool products.

From here, I learned about Whirlpool Intellifresh Refrigerator that is “Better than Inverter”.
