A DREAM COME TRUE! This is how Filipino-American rap artist, record producer and The Voice Philippines coach apl.de.ap described his very own Jollibee franchise store in Dau, Mabalacat, Pampanga.
Apl.de.ap was very happy to open his very own Jollibee Dau-McArthur franchise because it would not only bring langhap-sarap goodness to his fellow Kabalens but also help create jobs for his kababayan.
“I’m very excited to open my very own Jollibee store, right in my home province. I’ve always wanted to have a Jollibee franchise because it’s a product I grew up with,” said The Voice Philippines coach.
The Dau-McArthur branch is Jollibee’s 33rd outlet in Pampanga, formally opened last February 5. The blessing ceremony was headed by Apl.de.ap together with Jollibee Philippines President Joseph Tanbuntiong and Jollibee Regional Business Unit Head for North Luzon Kay So.
Well, aside from helping his Kabalens, apl.de.ap is also looking forward for future charity work with Jollibee. Sir Joseph Tanbuntiong described how charitable apl.de.ap is. In fact, they once partnered in building schools in Pampanga.
“We are proud to welcome apl.de.ap into the Jollibee family as a franchise partner who not only shares in our commitment to reach more Filipino families and bring them together over great-tasting langhap-sarap food but also believes in helping other people through philanthropy works,” said Tanbuntiong.
During the program apl.de.ap entertained the guests with his songs “We Can Be Anything” and “The Apl Song” where everyone pronounced “Filipino! Filipino!” loudly and proud.
The guests even get lively when apl.de.ap performed for the ever-famous music of the Grammy Award winning group The Black Eyed Peas entitled, “Where is the Love” as he dedicated it for the Fallen 44.
And for apl.de.ap fans out there, did you know that his most favorite Jollibee products are palabok and spicy chicken?

Wow! Congrats Dau! Congrats Apple d AP! I always admire businessmen like this artist! Might visit your branch when I’m there in Dau! Hmmm, and well congratulations Jollibee for a new franshisee! 🙂 Economy’s doing good!
Now that’s a real Filipino right there; he remained true to his words, as he retold his old APL song. He may be an international name alright, but he’s not ashamed of being a Filipino by giving back and helping his countrymen even on a simple, businessman-like way like this.
It’s always a brave move to start new businesses, and this business is not related to the music industry that he is in. Wishing him all the best! We have no Jollibee in Malaysia 🙁
A new store..how exciting! All the best, hope you do very well!
Franchising business turns out to be a profitable business model nowadays, Jollibee offers a great and quality service, delicious meals and lovely atmosphere, too!
