SM never lets us forget that Christmas is all about family. Exactly 30 days before Christmas last Saturday, SM surprised the kids and every kids-at-heart at the mall with the ever famous Sanrio character in the world – Hello Kitty! And she’s not alone to entertain us because SM brought the whole village of Hello Kitty and family!
The village was a wonderful Christmas attraction because the homes were embellished with colorful garlands, reefs and Christmas lights. Moreover, it was like visiting a museum because every Kitty home fed us more with information about each family members background and personality. Great! because I was able to inform my daughter more about my childhood favorite Sanrio character Hello Kitty and her twin sister Mimmy.
Their Papa Gorge White and Mama Mary White…
Their Grandpa Anthony White and Grandma Margaret White…
And yes, Hello Kitty and Dear Daniel!
Truly, everybody who passed by the Hello Kitty village can’t help but take photos of the famous cat’s home and her family members. Much to our delight we also had a chance to know some personalities who have enormous Hello Kitty Luxe Collections!

On that same day too, HOME of SM North Edsa gave us an opportunity to learn about decorating the house this Christmas season. Mr. Jie Pambid, director of Philippine School of Interior Design discussed about Holiday Decorating 101.
I saw his insights on holiday decoration in the Hello Kitty Village. And I agree, we should really go gaga with the Christmas garlands because of its flexibility and volatility. You can use the garlands and reefs at the foyer, the entrances and doorways and even the Christmas tree!
Still with the Hello Kitty Christmas at the North theme, the Interior Zone featured these wonderful Hello Kitty inspired interior designs for the home.
I went home that day full of imagination and inspiration from bringing back my childhood days to making my home look better for my family’s happiness this Christmas season.
I still have yet to do my post! Super ngarag ako sa pag back up ng photos ko sa multiply these past couple of days. 🙂
Kid’s would really love this. Hello Kitty has been such a popular icon among kids and teens and has stayed as one through the years.

Hello Kitty never goes out of fashion! It’s the never fading cuteness, I suppose! 🙂 Gotta visit SM North one of these days.
Wow! Sayang hindi kami nakapunta dyan! tsk!
Gusto ko yung Doc Martens boots! ^?^
My sister and her kids where there and, she told me that Hello Kitty Village is a great attraction specially to kids.
That’s a pretty cool pop culture event. I’m no fan, but I appreciate how pervasive Hello Kitty has become when it comes to collectibles and its own sub-culture.
I never had Hello Kitty when I was young ,we are poor and can’t afford any toys. The only things that my parents can afford for us are our school supplies ,books, lunch money and new shoes and clothes every Christmas. Now, that my family are well off, with family business, still Hello Kitty don’t ring a bell on my family back home. We rather buy food or spend our money into something worthwhile than collecting this stuff.
wow! haven for Hello Kitty lovers! I wish I could bring my daughter there…
Ma’am, question po, paano po kayo nakakareceive ng mga ninvites for this kind of event? My friend would surely love to see the Luxe Collection. I heard they are up until December 6, right?
Ohhhh…I love Kitty so much. My daughters are collecting HELLO KITTY stuff. Good you have an event like that, nakakabata…jejejejeje
wow.. i see this sight everyday! haha.. way to my office.
I hope Kitty land will visit SM Rosario the soonest! MY daughter will love it for sure.
Woah, amazing collections! Too bad I still can’t find time to visit SM North EDSA.
