Quarantine Activity: Making Homemade Pizza

The pandemic limited our outdoor activities, so I tried some other ways to learn and make myself busy especially in mundane afternoons.

Since baking trended online, I find it amusing to learn so I can serve something new to my family. Actually, we had a small bakery in the province way back childhood, so I know a little about making bread. My kids suggested pizza, so I search the internet on how to make homemade pizza.

Ingredients for the dough

It was a fun activity too because my daughter offered to grate the cheese and slice the ham.

My first attempt I think was good, though the dough was a bit fluffy. Actually, I did not have sufficient ingredients for the dough. I was half cup short of flour. I also made one dough for the mixture so imagine how big it was.

My fluffy pizza

I got all the ingredients for my second attempt, but the dough seemed chewy this time.

My second attempt

On my third attempt, I tried to make two doughs from one mixture and it’s just perfect!

Pizza perfect!

The amateur baker in me was so happy to create a perfect pizza that my kids love.
