The return trip to Manila from Manaoag, Pangasinan was tiring. When we were halfway back and reached Tarlac our group decided to eat lunch at Isdaan located at the town of Gerona.
It’s my first time to visit the place. I learned about Isdaan from some friends who have been there and was awed more with its attraction like statues of our former Presidents Cory Aquino and Joseph Estrada, also of Cardinal Sin and the famous Tacsiyapo Wall!
Since all of us were really hungry, we ordered food first upon arriving. Oh, actually, to be honest and detailed, we had our photoshoot first at the facade of the restaurant. Sadly, we were not able to dine in a floating kubol because our designated kubol was occupied by other customer. So we end up in a regular kubol.
We feasted in Seafood Bilao, Sinigang na Hipon, Seafood Rice, Crab Rice, Steamed Rice, Isdaan Pancit, Buko Juice and Iced Tea.
While waiting for our food, we took the opportunity to have another photoshoot.ย
The added attractions aside from the Walt Disney characters and statues of famous Pinoys were Angry Birds and a large pond where you can have a boat ride for 20 pesos per head.
There were also free face painting activities, magic shows and cultural dancers. Things that kids would really enjoy.
After eating, we went to the Tacsiyapo Wall but it’s under renovation so we just took time having pictures with the giant Buddhas before leaving with happy memories.
Anyway, our bill costs around P2,500, for 9 persons. Not bad, eh.
I’m planning to bring my family at Isdaan, Tarlac sometime in December. And oh, Isdaan also have a branch in Calauan, Laguna.
the food that you ordered look all delish ๐ those are huge angry birds! I’m sure the kids, and the kids at heart, loved the photo-opp with the famous birds ๐
Sounds like you guys had a great time. The food looks delicious.
this is why I love traveling, it gives me opportunity to try other restaurant outside Manila at a very affordable cost.. P2,500 is not really bad for nine persons.
Wow. I never heard about this place before pero naengganyo akong pumunta because of your post. The food looks delicious and 2500 is just okay kasi dami nyo naman eh hehe
I’ve been wanting to visit the place which is almost just a stone throw away from Pampanga..too lazy to drive ๐
Looks like a very inviting place to visit and dine. The Buddha looks so enormous.
oh wow! P2,500 is not bad at all for nine people! Love your outing sis! ๐
Yum sarap! I would love to try to eat in the isdaan. Here in Manila I think the nearest place is the Palaisdaan in Malabon.
I grew up at Tarlac and I have been to Gerona several times, but I haven’t been to that place (Isdaan). I hope I can check it out soon.
whenever we go North, we always make it a point to visit the place.. nakaka dissappoint madalas ang food at service speially pag madaming tao but the attractions are really great.. bawiin na lang sa picture taking! hahaha
The delicious food spread from Isdaan makes me drool! The Seafood Bilao looks tempting!
